For the 2023-2024 school year, Moore County Schools is implementing an updated Program Approval process.
This is in order to comply with new DPI requirements for Student Data Privacy, and to ensure the district has the ability to implement and support any new programs.
You may review the list of programs that have already been approved at
www.ncmcs.org/approved.
In order to proceed with any program implementation, you must provide the information on the online Program Approval form. A
PDF copy is available here so that you may review the required fields.
If any student data is used by the program, you must also have the vendor fill out the
Third Party Data Collection worksheet available for download here. This will be attached to the online form when you submit it.
When you have reviewed this information and prepared the worksheet, you may go to this link to submit a program approval request. Log in with your MCS email address and password.
Submitted forms will go first to Technology to ensure they are compatible with district systems, then will be reviewed quarterly by the Software Approval Committee.
