Bridget Johnson, Director of Curriculum and Instruction
Bridget Johnson first joined Moore County Schools in 2001 as a 4th grade teacher at Southern Pines Elementary, and a 4th and 5th grade teacher at Vass-Lakeview Elementary. During that time, she was named the Moore County Teacher of the Year for 2006 and the North Carolina Sandhills/South Central Regional Teacher of the Year for 2007.In 2013, Bridget became principal at Vass-Lakeview Elementary where she successfully implemented rigorous standards-based literacy and math frameworks and piloted a K-5 writer's workshop program.

Bridget holds a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Purdue University, a master's degree in School Administration from UNC Pembroke, and  a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from East Carolina University.
