As a parent, your child's safety is important to you. No parent wants to have their children waiting at the bus stop any longer than they need to. You don't want them standing by the side of the road in the cold or rain, or exposed to risks on days when driving conditions are less than favorable. You also; however, don't want them missing the bus.
Moore County Schools is launching Here Comes the Bus, a mobile app that assists parents in tracking their child's bus. This is a free app through the App Store or Google Play for your mobile device. With a customizable map, you can see in real time exactly where your child's bus is. With your smartphone or tablet, you can even customize the Here Comes the Bus app to send you notifications when your bus is near or to let you know when there has been a schedule change.
How to get started:
- Download the Here Comes the Bus app for Android or Apple or visit herecomesthebus.com.
- Click the
button
- Enter school code 74540 and click "Next" followed by "Confirm"
- Complete the "User Profile" box
- Under "My Students," click "Add". Enter the student's last name and student's PowerSchool ID number*. *If you do not have the PowerSchool ID number, you must visit your child's school and provide identification to receive this number.
- Confirm the information and you're ready to begin using Here Comes the Bus!
