COVID-19 Update

Kindergarten Registration Day was originally scheduled for March 20. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this event was cancelled and will not be held prior to May 15 since all NC schools are closed. Once we know when schools will be reopened, we will reschedule Kindergarten Registration and will post the new date here as well as share it on our social media channels. Please check this page often for potential changes or updates.

In the interim, if you have a child who will be attending kindergarten next school year (2020-2021), we encourage you to complete the online enrollment process as soon as possible, if you have not done so already.  Once you complete the online enrollment process, you will receive a call from your child’s school within three business days with further instructions and to coordinate submission of all required documents.

Please follow the instructions on the online enrollment page to begin the process. You can access the enrollment page here.

Welcome to Moore County Schools. The following information will guide you through enrolling your child in Kindergarten. We look forward to welcoming you and your child as they begin their school journey. Please contact your child's home school with any questions.
Please note that any child who will enter kindergarten for the 2020-21 school year must be 5 years of age on or before August 31, 2020.
