Enrollment and Admission

To be eligible for services through Moore County Schools Preschool Program, the child must be three to five years of age, not eligible for kindergarten, and a resident of Moore County.

  • Children in a tuition slot must pass a developmental screening (educational and speech/language) prior to enrollment. They may not be eligible for exceptional education services. Annual registration and weekly fees apply. Effective for the 2020-2021 school year, enrollment priority will be given in the order as follows:
    • To children of Moore County School Employees
    • To siblings of children currently enrolled in the preschool classroom who will return in the upcoming school year
    • To families based on the time and date of application to be placed on the tuition waiting list, beginning with the earliest
