The Superintendent shall appoint one or more individuals to coordinate the school system's efforts to comply and carry out its responsibilities under federal non-discrimination laws. These responsibilities include investigating any complaints communicated to school officials alleging noncompliance with Title VI or Title IX of the Civil Rights Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination Act, and/or the Boy Scouts Act, or alleging actions which would be prohibited by those laws. The names, titles, and contact information for these individuals will be posted on the school system's website and otherwise made publicly available.

Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 prohibits sex discrimination in all aspects of all educational programs.
