Moore County Schools Technology will now be managing bids through the GovDeals website - https://www.govdeals.com/ncmcs

All bidders must agree to our bid provisions:

  • BIDDERS MUST BE R2 CERTIFIED AND COMPLIANT AND HAVE THE CAPABILITY TO SECURELY DESTROY DATA AND PROVIDE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTATION STATING AND GUARANTEEING SAID PROCESS. ALL DATA "MUST" BE IRREVERSIBLY DELETED FROM DEVICES ACQUIRED FROM MCS AUCTIONS.

  • AFTER THE WINNING BIDDER IS NOTIFIED, THAT BIDDER WILL HAVE 15 BUSINESS DAYS TO REMOVE ALL ITEMS FROM THE MOORE COUNTY SCHOOLS WAREHOUSE (141 James St, Vass, NC 28394). "NO EXCEPTIONS". ANY ITEMS REMAINING ON THE PREMISES AFTER THE ALLOTTED TIME WILL BE CONSIDERED ABANDONED/FORFEITED AND WILL BE PROPERLY DISPOSED OF.

To place a bid, your company will have to register for a GovDeals account.

Once you have a GovDeals account,  you will have to request to join the Tier group on the GovDeals website called  "MCS R2 Certified Recyclers" to be able to bid on our auction items.

Moore County Schools will be notified of your request.  If we already have R2 documentation from you, we will approve the Tier request, otherwise, we will reach out to confirm current R2 certification. 

You will receive the approval notification via email sent to the email address associated with your GovDeals account.
