Public Education Foundation

PEFThe Public Education Foundation of Moore County, Inc. was incorporated in 1984 as a nonprofit organization with 501(c) (3) tax status and since its inception has contributed more than $250,000 to enhance education in Moore County. The Board of Directors consists of up to 25 members and these impassioned volunteers come from varied backgrounds and geographic locations around the county.

The mission of the Public Education Foundation is to encourage excellent educational practices in Moore County public schools by providing financial support and recognition for creative, engaging learning experiences.

Community support is essential to help raise funds that are granted to teachers for creative educational projects. Your tax-fee donation helps to sustain the Foundation's efforts. As a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, contributions to the Foundation are tax-deductible.
