STEM in Moore County Schools
Moore County Schools is proud to provide the very best STEM Education offerings in the state of North Carolina! We offer the most robust K-12 Robotics program in the state, with robotics clubs in all 23 schools as well as robotics integration into our daily classroom lessons. The engineering / design process is also woven throughout our K-8 pacing guides, which means our students get to regularly work like engineers in our classrooms- planning/designing/creating and then improving on their designs.
Additionally, we annually host the best summer STEM Camps in the state- serving over 200 students each year for the past 7 years. Finally, our high schools provide students an opportunity to participate in a nationwide cyber security club/competition, Cyber Patriot.
Because of these ongoing accomplishments on behalf of our students, Moore County Schools has been recognized as 1 of 4 "Innovation Academies" in the state of North Carolina.
