**Note: All permanent full-time or part-time (20 hours per week or more) employees (excluding teachers and instructional support) who have at least 10 years of total qualifying state service are eligible for longevity payments. In 2014-15, the General Assembly incorporated longevity pay into the salary schedules for teachers and instructional support to provide higher salaries at each step.
