Superintendent Search Feedback Survey

As part of the superintendent search process, the Moore County Board of Education is providing an online survey for all stakeholders to offer input on the leadership qualities and priorities desired in the district’s next superintendent. The stakeholder feedback survey will remain open through Thursday, February 26, 2026. ​This survey is open to all members of the Moore County Schools community, including staff, families, students, and residents.

Drive Safe, Arrive Alive Flyer
Safe Driving Campaign Nov. 3-7

Moore County Schools will launch a Safe Driving Campaign for high school students during the week of November 3–7, 2025, featuring daily activities that promote awareness and responsible driving habits. Parents and students are also invited to attend a special presentation on Monday, November 3, from 6:30–7:30 p.m. at Union Pines High School, led by Sergeant Chris Smith of the North Carolina Highway Patrol.

In accordance with North Carolina House Bill 142, all MCS students in grades 6–12 will view state-required videos on abuse and neglect developed by the NC Center for Safer Schools. Schools will notify families of the dates these videos will be shown. Alongside this, students will also receive information about the Say Something Anonymous Reporting System (SS-ARS), which provides a secure, confidential way to report safety concerns through a mobile app, website, or 24/7 hotline.

PowerSchool reported a cyber incident to the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) and shared that, with the assistance of CyberSteward, a cybersecurity firm, any breached data has been securely destroyed.
