It is my honor to be the Principal at Crain's Creek Middle School. I spent 14 years in the classroom, most of which were at Pinecrest High School as an English teacher.  I spent 4 years at Union Pines High School and 2 years at Southern Middle as an Assistant Principal.  I hope you are as excited about the 2018-2019 school year as I am. I look forward to a year of learning and growing with you, your family, our teachers, and our community as we collectively strive to foster a culture of learning. It is my vision for you to achieve your academic goals in a safe and supportive learning environment and for you to participate in extracurricular activities that provide you with valuable experiences in becoming a well-rounded citizen. Whether you are moving from the elementary school experience or preparing for the bigger challenges of high school, these few short middle school years will have a lasting impression on your development and growth, so let’s make it the best years of your school career: show your school pride, display a curiosity for learning, exhibit a willingness to collaborate, and maintain an attitude of positivity. I cannot wait to visit you in your classrooms, to cheer you on from the sidelines, to watch you draw, sing, dance, and perform, or to volunteer with you in the community. It is my promise to you and your family that I will make every decision in the best interest of each of you. I maintain an open door policy, so do not hesitate to drop by my office (or call or email) to let me celebrate in your triumphs or help you overcome your obstacles. I hope you all have enjoyed your last few weeks of summer and are ready to be back in school. I cannot wait to meet each and every one of you and partner with your families to ensure your success.

    Welcome back,
