Out-of-County Car Request for Student Transport

Request must be made 7 working days in advance.

Request must be canceled in advance if car is not going to be used.

Car must be returned by 7:30 a.m. the morning after day/days used.

Keys are to be placed in the ashtray and doors are to be locked.

All trash is to be removed from car before returning to Maintenance.

An Out of Town Car Request form must be turned in before a car can be picked up.

Students are not permitted to be transported in fleet vehicles due to insurance restrictions.

For consideration of a waiver of the insurance restriction by the Superintendent of Schools, a Student Transport Form must be submitted.

A request from a principal must be approved by the Director for Student Support Services.

If a car is not available, a denial form stating so can be picked up from the maintenance office.

Person or persons are responsible for pick up the morning of the trip; pick up time is 7:45 a.m.

Cars may be picked up by 3:45 p.m. the evening before provided the vehicle is available.
