Student Transport Request Guidelines

Out-of-County Trip Request for Student Transport

  • Request must be made 7 working days in advance.

  • Request must be canceled in advance if car is not going to be used.

  • Car must be returned by 7:30 a.m. the morning after day/days used.

  • Keys are to be placed in the ashtray and doors are to be locked.

  • All trash is to be removed from car before returning to Maintenance.

  • An Out of Town Car Request form must be turned in before a car can be picked up.

  • Students are not permitted to be transported in fleet vehicles due to insurance restrictions.

  • For consideration of a waiver of the insurance restriction by the Superintendent of Schools, a Student Transport Form must be submitted.

  • A request from a principal must be approved by Dr. Seth Powers.

  • If a car is not available, a denial form stating so can be picked up from the maintenance office.

  • Person or persons are responsible for pick up the morning of the trip; pick up time is 7:45 a.m.

  • Cars may be picked up by 3:45 p.m. the evening before provided the vehicle is available.
