African American Community Advisory Council

The African American Community Advisory Council (AACAC) works to advise the Superintendent on the specific issues relating to the welfare of African American students, teachers and staff within Moore County Schools.

For the fall 2022, the AACAC will meet in conjunction with a MCS Community Engagement Series that will feature community engagement meetings in the three attendance areas for MCS (Area I feeding Union Pines High School, Area II feeding North Moore High School and Area III feeding Pinecrest High School). AACAC members can attend all three engagements series meetings, but each area meeting will focus on the particular concerns of that area.

Community members interested in joining this group may contact the facilitator, Tracy Metcalf.
