2020-2021 Innovative Calendar Feedback
From December 11, 2018 to January 10, 2019 a proposed traditional calendar was made available on line for community feedback. However, during this time in which feedback on the traditional calendar was being collected, the Calendar Committee became aware of an alternate innovative year-round calendar option that meets state requirements and also closely aligns with the community college calendar. This alternate calendar would allow for semester testing prior to the winter break and aligns with the Boards advocacy for calendar flexibility. Moore County Schools Strategic Plan
Moore County Schools is asking the public to provide input on its proposed strategic plan for 2018-2021.
Comments will be collected through Friday, May 25, and will be presented to the Board of Education at its Work Session on Monday, June 4.
The Board of Education will vote on the final strategic plan at its Business Meeting on June 11. Click here to access the strategic plan and to provide feedback.

Moore County Schools FY 2019 Operating Budget
The Moore County Board of Education is asking the public to provide input on its proposed operating budget for FY 2019.
Comments will be collected through Friday, April 6 and will be presented to the Board of Education at its April Work Session on Monday, April 9. The Board of Education will vote on the final budget on April 16, after which it will be presented to the County Board of Commissioners for its approval on Tuesday, June 19, 2018.
