Student Admissions and Transfers The window for making a school transfer or discretionary admission request for 2019-2020 will be February 1-28. Moore County Schools is implementing a new online process for student transfer and discretionary admission requests through ScribChoice this year. In order to request a student transfer from one school to another within Moore County or discretionary admission for a student to attend a school in Moore County while residing outside of Moore County, parents should visit https://moorencc.scriborder.com/ and follow the online instructions for creating an account and completing the request. All correspondence regarding the status of your transfer will occur through email once you have registered and submitted your request online.

Letters will be sent home with all students the last week of January 2019 explaining and outline the student transfer/discretionary admission process for the 2019-2020 school year. In addition, letters will be mailed to all families whose school of attendance is outside the attendance area for their domiciled address according to data in PowerSchool.

You may contact your school office or visit Moore County Schools Student Support Services webpage to access additional information related to the 2019-2020 student transfer/discretionary admission process.

On these pages, you will find the letter sent home to all parents, information about closed schools, Discretionary Admissions to Moore County Schools for students that are not domiciled in Moore County and Discretionary Transfers of school assignment between schools within Moore County.
