Cost Increase for Transrcripts
NOTICE! The cost for a transcript will increase to $6.00 beginning May 1, 2012.  At that time, a new feature will be added to the "Transcripts/Student Records" page that will allow requests to be made and paid for online.
 
Summer Hours
Moore County Schools has operated on an extended four-day week during the summer for the past three years as a cost savings measure.  Schools and offices are open for extended hours Monday-Thursday.  Please see the schedule below for details regarding hours of operation.

Board Adopts Pre-K Resolution

Tutoring Services
Available to eligible students at seven schools (SES)
District Improvement Plans Available for Viewing

The No Child Left Behind (NCLB) law requires that each district in improvement develop or revise a district plan. This plan will address the fundamental teaching and learning needs of all of the schools in our district, especially the academic problems of low-achieving students.

As part of the Moore County Schools revision process parents, school staff and other interested stakeholders are invited to review the current district plan and to provide input into the new district Title I plan from October 9, 2009 through November 30, 2009.
